I drove and continue to drive different cars, both used and new (different Toyota, Mitsubishi). VOLVO is, without a doubt, an order of magnitude better than all those overpowered, it is expressed in everything, in materials, in how the car behaves on the road and at any speed. Great sound, although of course it's bad that it doesn't read mp3, but the officials suggested putting a CD changer, so this problem can be solved. To all the pluses, Webasto is installed on the car, so all winter, even at minus 40, there were no special problems with operation, two-zone climate control, two-stage heated fr Volvo S60 2001 2.4 M Silver ont seats, and the interior itself is very warm. From investments, I did not wait for the prescribed 60,000 km of mileage for TO3 and changed all the slurries for 50,000 km, everything with materials (oil, and all filters, except for the salon one), cost 5,000 rubles (serviced at the service station where we service company cars), it is not much more expensive than servicing the same Toyota with the same work. Replaced the battery - 3000 rubles, and that's it !!! The machine is a fairy tale !!! There are, of course, things to get used to - a fairly low ground clearance (they will understand me owners of MarkII, Chaser, Cresta and other similar cars), but more than BMW or Mercedes (sedans), so it is enough to understand once the capabilities of the car, and then just be more careful. A sufficiently large turning radius, on the very first day I got stuck in a traffic jam, and out of habit I decided to "spin" on the road, on the remaining free lane, I was endlessly surprised that I had to backtrack, but this, too, is a matter of habit. Most of the time, the S60 is controlled by his wife, she has 3 years of driving experience (and from the category of "monkey with a grenade"), but VOLVO does wonders, the car is powerful, which gives confidence when driving, various systems (stabilization, ABS, etc. .) add calmness, and the seductiveness of the car relaxes, so that even she now drives calmly and confidently. As for me, I have long dreamed of a jeep, or rather a SUV, and now I am looking at the VOLVO XC90, colleagues, having learned that there is a potential sale of my S60, have already lined up to buy it! In general, guys, if any of you thinks, chooses, my opinion is that the answer is obvious, VOLVO S60 is a very balanced car in everything. I will quote the words of the person who sold it to me, "Great car, for not a lot of money!". Of course, it is better to take it from the hands with not very high mileage and better than previously purchased from the officials, so it will cost you at least 2 times cheaper than a new one, and the technical characteristics will remain close to a new car.
